On the occasion of being elected in the post of the RA NA Speaker high-ranking officials of Armenia and foreign countries congratulated Galust Sahakyan.

On the occasion of the election in the high post the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the NKR President Bako Sahakyan, the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the RA CC President Gagik Harutyunyan and the NKR NA Speaker Ashot Ghulyan congratulated Mr Sahakyan and wished him success in his work.

The Speaker of the RF State Duma Sergey Narishkin and the Speaker of the RF Federal Council (FC) of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko sent congratulatory messages and confirmed the invitation of the NA Speaker’s official visit to the Russian Federation.

The member of the RF FC, the Co-Chairman of the Russian-Armenian Inter-Parliamentary Committee Nikolay Ryzhkov, the member of the RF FC Igor Chernishenko, the General Secretary of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Alexey Sergeyev, the President of the World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians of Russia’s Ara Abrahamyan, ministers, head of marzes, mayors, clergymen, the Writers’ and the RA Painters’ Unions and the NGOs also congratulated the RA NA newly elected Speaker.
