On October 7 the summary of the competition results of the surveys of the NA employees within the programme of the assistance of the capabilities development in the National Assembly, which was announced by the OSCE Yerevan Office and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was held in the National Assembly.

We’ll remind that the surveys were dedicated to the comparative analysis of a number of problems in different spheres and were aimed at encouraging and assisting the development of the survey capabilities in the National Assembly, promoting the awareness of the modern principles and best models of diverse issues of the legal normalization sphere.

The NA Chief of Staff Gegham Gharibjanyan congratulated the winners of the competition, thanked the Head of the OSCE Yerevan Office Sergey Kapinos and the staff of the Office for active cooperation and implementation of the interesting programmes with the National Assembly, expressing hope that the NA employees would more actively take part in the next competitions.

According to the Head of the OSCE Yerevan Office Sergey Kapinos, this competition gives new opportunity for activation of cooperation with the National Assembly and develops the research and analytical skills of the NA employees. He congratulated the winners of the competition and said that such events with NA Staff would be continuous.

The first prizes received Luisa Charkhchyan for the studies on the themes The Most Efficient Model of the Assessment of the Consumption, and Armen Torosyan, Emil Gevorgyan, Ani Sargsyan (The Comparative Study of the Models of the Polictical Minorities’ Protection in the Legislation).

The second prize received Hayk Hovhannisyan for the research on the theme The Models of Assessing the Corruption Risks in the Legislative Draft Laws.

The third prizes received Marusyan Asatryan, Stepan Ohanjanyan and Armine Zakaryan for the research on the theme Analysis of the Succeeded Models of the Deputies’ “Rules of Behaviour.”

Several participants of the competition received special prizes.
