Congratulations to the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan

On the occasion of being elected in the post of the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Mr Hovik Abhrahamyan continues to get congratulatory messages: to the congratulations of the RA President Mr Serzh Sargsyan and the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II on September 30 the congratulations of the RA Prime Minister Mr Tigran Sargsyan followed. The RA Prime Minister expressed confidence that in the high and responsible post Mr Abrahamyan will use his great experience and skills accumulated through years for making more effective the activity of the parliament, making closer the cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities and advancing successfully the reforms under implementation in the country.

Speaker of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Mr Bako Sahakyan wished the newly elected Speaker of the National Assembly success and effective work for the sake of the prosperity of the Republic of Armenia, and expressed confidence that in the responsible post of the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan would succeed to give a new impetus to the activity of the high legislative body, develop and deepen Armenia-Artsakh parliamentary ties.

Speaker of the National Assembly of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Mr Ashot Ghulyan expressed confidence that the experience of the state and political figure Mr Hovik Abrahamyan in the high post of NA Speaker would be displayed in a new way, contributing to the improvement of the legislative field of the country, the strengthening and development of the parliamentary traditions. He also expressed confidence that a new impulse will be given to the inter-parliamentary cooperation of two countries and the achievements of that sphere would be multiplied.

Prime Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Mr Ara Harurtyunyan expressed confidence that Mr Hovik Abrahamyan’s rich work experience and organizational outstanding abilities in the state system will serve in a best way for the rise, and they will help to make the RA legislation more harmonious with the requirements of democratic society. Mr Harutyunyan also expected that the National Assembly headed by Mr Hovik Abrahamyan would keep at the center of his attention Artsakh and its problems.

President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Mr Gagik Harutyunyan addressed the Speaker of the National Assembly on the behalf of the Constitutional Court and noted that the full realization of the fundamental values and principles in establishing constitutional democracy in our country, the provision of the necessary legislative guarantees for their implementation. Mr Harutyunyan expressed confidence that the National Assembly presided by Mr Hovik Abrahamyan would pay more attention to the steadfast realization of the RA Constitution, creation of real preconditions for guaranteeing the priority of the Constitution with the framework of its authorities complying the acting laws with Constitution.

Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mr Edvard Nalbandyan congratulated the NA Speaker and expressed confidence that his experience and dedication to the Armenian statehood and human high merits will give essential impetus to the activity of the RA National Assembly for the sake of the further prosperity of our country.

Secretary General of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly Mr Mikhail Krotov warmly congratulated the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan on his behalf and on behalf of the organization and expressed confidence that his activity would promote the further deepening of the inter-parliamentary ties within the IPA CIS framework. Mr Krotov wished the NA Speaker and all MPs peace and welfare.

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the US Mr Tatul Margaryan wished fruitful work and new successes for the sake of the Republic of Armenia and the whole Armenian people.

Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN, Ambassador Mr Armen Martirosyan congratulated Mr Abrahamyan on behalf of representation and on his behalf and wished him success and fruitful work for the welfare of the Motherland.

RA Ambassador to RF Mr Armen Smbatyan congratulated Mr Hovik Abrahamyan on the occasion of his assuming office and noted that through years he bore responsibility for the future of the Armenian statehood and Armenian people in the spheres of exclusive and invaluable importance, permanently acting as a skilful and professional figure and remaining faithful to the all-human moral principles and rules of universal manner. The Ambassador expressed confidence that Mr Abrahamyan’s efforts would from now on promote the development and strengthening of the Motherland.

RA Ambassador to Ukraine Mr Armen Khachatryan wished new successes to the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan in his high and responsible post.

RA Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium wished inexhaustible energy and success to the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan in his working activity.

RA Ambassador to India Mr Ashot Kocharyan also congratulated the NA Speaker and wished to implement all indicated programmes and new successes in his fruitful activity for the sake of Motherland.

RA Chief Consul in Rostov-on-Don Mr Ararat Gomtsyan expressed confidence in his congratulatory message that Mr Hovik Abrahamyan would display his political experience and skillfulness more successfully in the post of NA Speaker, more heightening the political prestige in the republic and in the international arena.

President of the RA National Academy of Sciences, academician Mr Radik Martirosyan also sent a congratulatory message on his behalf, as well as from the scientists of the RA National Academy of Sciences and expressed confidence that Mr Abrahamyan’s years long work experience in the economic and administrative posts in the republic and human characteristic would enable him to direct his efforts in the effective implementation of the undergoing reforms in Armenia.

Congratulations were received from Moscow . The head of the Representation of Yerevan Municipality Mr Makar Nahapetyan noted that in this responsible and difficult period of its development the people of Armenia confided in Mr Hovik Abrahamyan the second post by its importance in the republic, which is a great honour and responsibility. Mr Nahapetyan wished the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan success in the solution of the problems of the strengthening of the Armenian statehood and providing security and prosperity of the Motherland. The Chairman of the Russian Company of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia Mr Viktor Krivopuskov congratulated the NA Speaker Mr Hovik Abrahamyan and noted that it was a great honour to serve the Armenian people in the very important period of the development of free Armenia. Mr Krivopuskov expressed confidence that adhering to the ideals of the Third Republic the NA Speaker would contribute to the development and prosperity of the statehood, the guarantor of which was his previous activity, the active civil position of the citizen and statesman. Mr Viktor Krivopuskov also expressed hope that the effective cooperation would continue for the sake of the Armenian-Russian thousand-years, and fraternal partnership between Russia and Armenia.

Numerous congratulations were received from the Central Electoral Commission, regions of the Republic of Armenia, ministries and inspections, rectors of the higher educational institutions, chief department of the civil aviation, from different organizations and individuals.
