On September 12 the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan attended the exhibition titled “Under Parajanov’s Light” dedicated to the acclaimed filmmaker Sergey Parajanov’s 90th birth anniversary, which this time was organized in Hrazdan. Let us note that the series of events are carried out under the high aegis of the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan. The goal of the programme is to give an opportunity to the youth to reveal their creative potential, promote the interest towards culture among young people and freely express their perception of the world through the diversity of artistic expression.
The pupils of 10th – 11th forms of art and general schools of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Republic will take part in the series of events with their works of fine arts, and collage art.
The second exhibition was in Hrazdan, where the jury members studied the children’s paintings and collage works, then by close voting chose 6 best works. The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, jury member Karine Atshemyan noted that the best works should be shown in the RA NA, but diplomas and incentive awards would be given to all participants. Speaking about the best work of the competition, Mrs Atshemyan noted with love that it would become the cultural symbol of the year in the parliament. The Director of Yervand Kochar Art School in Hrazdan Seryozha Gabrielyan, who was also a jury member, in his word thanked the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan for directly showing support to the programme.
