On July 18 RA National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan received Arto Tunchboyajian, well-known musician, laureate of Grammy-2011, founder of the Armenian Navy Band.

The NA Speaker congratulated him on the occasion of receiving citizenship of the Republic of Armenia and getting the passport of RA citizen and expressed confidence that from now on he would continue to present with dignity Armenian culture abroad. The Head of the Parliament highlighted the role of culture as a visit card of a country and people.

Hovik Abrahamyan noted that he had an intention to initiate a number of charitable concert auctions aimed at the support of the socially vulnerable groups with the expectation of the Armenian Navy Band’s participation in them.

Arto Tunchboyajian presented his programs and expressed willingness to continue cooperation with the National Assembly.
