We repeatedly urge our mass media colleagues for preventing to spread non-reliable information not corresponding to the reality concerning the National Assembly and its leadership specify beforehand their information with the NA relevant department in order not to delude the readers.
Haykakan Zhamanak daily in its April 22 issue spread information not corresponding to the reality spread information on the visit of the NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the village of Yelpin of Vayotz Dzor Marz. First, we’ll inform you that the NA Speaker was on a working visit about a month ago, on March 29, not recently, as the newspaper noted. He has been to marz centres and to a number of villages of the marz, including Yelpin and a number of borderline and far away settlements. During the visit all the meetings, except those happened in the marz centres and in RPA territorial office, open air ones were held, including in the village of Yelpin. Therefore, the information of the newspaper, as if a meeting has been in the hall of the village, is not right. The fact as if, a talk was held about the iron ores, does not correspond to the reality. The agricultural issues, the problems of kindergarten and water served as a theme of the sincere talk with the farmers.
About a week after the visit of Yelpin on April 5 the head of the village and a group of residents visited the National Assembly, who met the NA Speaker. (The NA Public Relations and Media Department spread relevant information about the visit to Vayotz Dzor and that meeting, it was also posted on the NA official website, and in case of wish the reporter of Haykakan Zhamanak could make use of it). 3mln drams have been allocated from the NA Speaker’s fund for solving the problem of the inner network of the irrigation water of the village, after the meeting 10 tonnes of nitric fertilizer was also provided to Yelpin.
We once again call on our colleagues to publish only checked facts.
