On June 18 President of the National Assembly Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Armenia Mrs. Reena Pandey in connection with completion of her diplomatic mission.

During the discussion the head of the Armenian Parliament expressed his gratitude to Mrs. Pandey for close cooperation during the last years. Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan highly assessed the Ambassador’s work and stressed that she made her special contribution to the development of bilateral relations, taking into account the rich history of friendly relations of Armenia and India.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the perspectives of coope ration between the parliaments of the two countries. Ambassador Pandey informed the President of the Armenian Parliament that her country aimed to support the development of one of the village communities of Lori Marz, as well as to found an information technology center.

Summing up the discussion Mr. H. Abrahamyan wished successes in her endeavors and expressed hope that she would continue her friendly relations after completing her diplomatic mission in Yerevan, too.
