At April 26 sitting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the draft law on Addenda and Amendments to the law on Remuneration of the Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions was debated in the second reading.

The principles established by Article 4 of the law will be provided by the adoption of the initiative and the coefficients of the calculation of the main salary of the Chairman of the Commission on Television and Radio and the Commission member will be complied with the coefficients of calculation of the main salary of the persons holding relevant position. As the Head of the Civil Service Bureau of the RA Prime Minister’s Staff Vache Qalashyan informed, after being adopted in the first reading the draft was not amended.

The Committee also debated in the second reading the package of draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Administrative Procedure Code and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offences. It is aimed at the solution of a number of procedural problems raised by the judges during the administrative proceedings. During the period from the first to the second reading the presented amendments are mainly directed to relieving of the burden of the Administrative Court.

The Committee endorsed the debated bills.

The debate of the package of drafts on Amending the law in Public Service and on Making Addenda and Amendments to the law on Remuneration of the Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions authored by the Government was postponed up to two months by the author’s proposal.

The debate of the draft law on Making Addenda to the law on Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia with the attached legislative package authored by the deputy of the NA Armenia Faction Agnesa Khamoyan was also postponed.

The debate of the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda the Code on RA Criminal Procedure in the second reading was also postponed.
