On September 8, the sitting of the RA NA Council presided over by Alen Simonyan was held.

The draft agendas of the sixth session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly and the regular sittings to be convened on September 11 were debated and approved. The sequence of the debate of the agenda items of the regular sittings to be convened on September 11 was also set by the Council decision.

54 items were included in the draft agenda of the sixth session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly, and 48 items – in the draft agenda of the regular sittings to be convened on September 11.

Addenda were made to the decision of July 11, 2017 of the NA Council, and amendments – in October 25 decision.

The NA Council debated the issue on Appointing Member of the Competitive Council Formed to Elect Candidates for the Position of Members of the Corruption Prevention Commission. The NA Civil Contract Faction nominated Arusyak Julhakyan’s candidacy, the NA Armenia Faction – Tadevos Avetisyan’s candidacy. As a result of voting, Arusyak Julhakyan was appointed Member of the Competitive Council Formed to Elect Candidates for the Position of Members of the Corruption Prevention Commission.
