Veterans attend military parade held in Moscow on Aleksey Sandikov’s initiative
Veterans Rosalia Abgaryan and Nerses Simonyan attended the military parade dedicated to Victory Day in Moscow on the initiative of the deputy of the RA National Assembly Aleksey Sandikov.
Today, the traditional military parade devoted to the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War took place in the Red Square in Moscow, where the RA Prime Minister participated as well.
Nikol Pashinyan met the veterans who went to Moscow, who last visited the Red Square 10 years ago.
The participation of more than half a million Armenians in the Great Patriotic War was of great importance in creating victory. Legendary military commanders, around 300 thousand Armenians who performed many feats have selflessly fallen on the battlefield.
107 Armenians were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
