Krikor Zohrab, Bedros Halajian, Nazaret Daghavarian, Garabed Pashayan, Hovhannes Vartkes Serengülian, Onnik Derdzakian, Hampartsum Boyajian. They were seven out of 1,5mln. Seven Armenian members of the Ottoman Parliament, who were arrested in 1915, then were brutally killed.
Nazaret Daghavarian was arrested in Istanbul on April 1915 and was moved to Ayash Prison, then – sent to Diarbekir. He was killed in the vicinity of Siverek.
Garabed Pashayan was arrested in Beyoghli and sent to Ayash. He was killed in the vicinity of Ankara.
Bedros Halajian was arrested in Diyarbakir on April 21 1915. He was killed on June 9.
Onnik Derdzakian was arrested on April 17, 1915, then he was killed in the vicinity of Bitlis and in the site bearing the name of Arabu Gorge in April.
Hambartsum Boyadjian was arrested in his house of Beyoghli on April 24, 1915. First, he was sent to Ankara Sinjankyol, then – to Ayash prison. Afterwards Boyajian was moved to Kaiser, where he was hung in August 1915.
Krikor Zohrab was arrested in Istanbul on May 21, 1915. He was sent together with Hovhannes Vartkes Serengülian, an MP from Erzrum to Diarbekir, afterwards they were taken Konya, then – to Adana and Aleppo. At the end, they were sent to Urfa. Both of them were killed in Urfa.
Krikor Zohrab’s letter written to his wife from Aleppo was kept on July 15.
In 2016, the Armenian deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Garo Paylan showed to the attendees one by one the photos of the Armenian deputies, who were sent to exile and killed, proposing the presidency of Meclis to implement investigation and find out their destinies.
After 106 years from the genocide, nothing has been changed. The fact of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Government has been substantiated, recognized and confirmed by the evidence, laws, resolutions and the decisions of numerous states and international authoritative organizations.
