On June 5, at the sitting moderated by Vardevan Grigoryan at the RA NA Standing Committee on territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment the preliminary debate of the legislative package on Amending the RA Լ aw on the RA Administrative-Territorial Division authored by the RA Government and the RA Լ aw on Local Self-Government, where heads of a number of RA communities also took part. It is designed to debate the legislative package with the Committee’s endorsement at June 7 RA NA extraordinary sitting.

By the assessment of the Committee Chair Vardevan Grigoryan, the legislative package under debate has a big public sounding, and it is envisaged that the joint and objective debate with the MPs, heads of the communities and the representative of the RA Government will give answers to the questions concerning the public.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Vache Terteryan has informed that it is planned to implement 34 programmes of the enlargement of the communities by the legislative package.

The participants of the debate addressed numerous questions, to which exhaustive answers were given.
