On March 31, the NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood moderated by Ara Babloyan in the second reading debated the draft law on Medicine with the enclosed legislative package, which presented the RA Deputy Minister of Healthcare Sergey Khachatryan.

By the decision of the Committee and by the Deputy Minister’s consent the inclusion of the draft law with the enclosed package in the agenda of the NA four-day sittings was postponed up to one year.

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Artak Zakaryan the Loan Agreement on State Sector Modernization Project 3 signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development signed on 18 November 2015, presented by the Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Vakhtang Mirumyan, was debated. The members of the Committee delivered speeches on the document.

Afterwards the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Davit Melkonyan presented Protocol 15 amending the Convention for Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms signed in Strasbourg on 24 June 2013.

The deputies also debated the Agreement on Provision of an Investment Loan from the Resources of the Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community for Financing the Irrigation System Modernization Project signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Eurasian Development Bank in Yerevan on 16 October 2015, which submitted the Chairman of the State Committee of Water Economy of the RA Ministry of Agriculture Aram Harutyunyan.

The debated international documents with the endorsement of the Committee will be submitted for the ratification of the parliament.

The Committee made a decision to hold parliamentary hearings on the theme the Economic Component of the RA Foreign Policy at the NA Session Hall on April 12, at 10:00.
