The literary world suffered a great loss: the reputed poetess, member of presidium of the Writers’ Union of Armenia Metakse passed away. Her creations due to their expressiveness and picturesque imagery are the witnesses of poetess’ talent and specific style. She has been an example for many people with her cheerfulness, patriotism and optimism. In the name of the RA National Assembly and on my own behalf I condole with Metakse’s relatives, friends, and admirers of her talent. The image of the great poetess, citizen and patriot will always remain alive in our hearts, and many generations will be raised through the rich literary legacy left behind her.
