Dear compatriots,

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of one of the most important state holidays, Independence Day.

For all the peoples independence is not only a natural and regular aspiration but also a right of possessing its own destiny and building its future.

By achieving independence and restoring statehood we declared to the whole world that we are able to make our country a dignified member of the world family and legally equal participant of international processes.

The independence achieved 22 years ago by the all people’s expression of will demanded from everybody a tender-hearted approach towards the state, special manifestation of tolerance and unity, faith and confidence towards its own forces. That same faith and confidence guaranteed our victorious campaign in eliminating the grave consequences of the 1988 disastrous earthquake, ensuring victory for free Artsakh in the battlefield and improving the social-economic life.

I am sure that any experience and difficulty cannot damage the stable procedure of our country to achieve the full implementation of all people’s aspirations and to have more developed, welfare and safe Armenia.

Once again congratulating on the occasion of Independence Day I wish everybody zealous and fruitful work for the strengthening of our state and welfare of our people.
