On March 19 the Vice President of the National Assembly Hermine Naghdalyan met with the students of the Faculty of the International Relations of the Yerevan State University (YSU), who pass their educational practice in the parliament.
Noticing that the majority of the students are girls, Hermine Naghdalyan began the talk with the answer of the question often given to her: she has documented with her own example that women can be active in family and in social-political life, if she displays willpower and is surrounded with civilized people, who are not guided by the formulation “or… or”.
Touching upon the profession of international relations, the NA Vice Speaker has noted that especially for the newly independent state it is very important to have diplomats: expectations are high from the new generation with modern views. Hermine Naghdalyan advised the youngsters to rightly weigh and use their possibilities.
At the students’ request the Vice President of the National Assembly also touched upon a number of issues relating to Armenia’s internal and foreign policy.
