On April 27 the RA National Assembly Speaker Samvel Nikoyan met with the heads of the Union of Information Technologies Enterprises Member Companies. In the course of the meeting the existing problems of the information technologies sphere, perspectives of development and upcoming programmes were discussed. It was noted that the development of the information technologies was greatly conditioned by the legislative favourable conditions, in case of which development of information TV communication and high technologies would be provided in Armenia, making the republic a country of high technologies.

The participants touched upon the problem of information technologies in the marzes, the heads of the companies proposed to create favourable conditions for concerned activity of the technological companies in the RA marzes.

Issues connected with the education of technologies were also discussed. The representatives of the sphere thanked Samvel Nikoyan for showing support in establishing the programme of the National Engineering Laboratories.
