Luka Bebić Meets the Members of Armenia-Croatia Friendship Group

The delegation led by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia Luka Bebić met the members of Armenia-Croatia Friendship Group in the National Assembly.

The Head of Armenia-Croatia Friendship Group Hovhannes Sahakyan noted that the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation was important for the rapprochement Armenian-Croatian bilateral relations. From this viewpoint Mr Sahakyan highly assessed the visit of the delegation to Yerevan. He considered important the necessity of cooperation between the delegations of Armenia and Croatia in the European structures. Noting that the EU membership was one of the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy the head of the group in that issue highlighted the experience of Croatia.

The Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia Luka Bebić also highlighted the deepening of the inter-parliamentary relations, the mutual visits and cooperation in international structures. He expressed the support of the Croatian Parliament in the process connected with Armenia’s Euro-integration. The MPs of the Republic of Croatia noted that their country had already ended the negotiations of EU membership and was ready to share its experience in that issue with the Armenian counterparts.

In the course of the meeting other issues were also discussed.
