On September 30 in RA National Assembly the Chief of the Staff of the Armenian Parliament Gegham Gharibjanyan and the head of the Experts’ Group of the International Cooperation Agency of Korea (KOICA) Kim Eun Suk signed the protocol of discussions on the project for Technical Renovation of RA NA Session Hall between the Experts’ Group of the International Cooperation Agency of Korea and the staff of RA National Assembly.
During the official visit to the Republic of Korea in December 2009 the President of RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan had a meeting with the President of the International Cooperation Agency of Korea (KOICA) Mr. Park Dae Won, during which an agreement was reached that the agency would assist to the works of the technical renovation of the hall of RA National Assembly.
In August of this year the representatives of the International Cooperation Agency of Korea arrived in Armenia, met with the President of RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan and discussed issues connected with the renovation of the hall of RA National Assembly.
Recently the representatives of the International Cooperation Agency of Korea again arrived in Yerevan, had a number of meetings with the RA NA Chief of the Staff Gegham Gharibjanyan and the Staff to discuss the necessary events to be held for the successful implementation of the Technical Renovation project of RA NA Session Hall.
After the protocol signing ceremony the RA NA Chief of the Staff Gegham Gharibjanyan thanked the International Cooperation Agency of Korea and the people of Korea for the support and expressed hope that the cooperation would be continuous.
The aim of the project for the Technical Renovation of RA NA Session Hall is to rise the activity of the National Assembly and efficiency of the works of NA Staff, the degree of accessibility and transparency of activity of RA NA.
