On September 10 the next sittings of the NA Standing Committees.

The next sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Management and Local Self-Government was held, which was presided over by the Deputy Chairman of the committee Rafik Grigoryan.

The Committee debated five bills from eight ones, which were included in the agenda, and the debate of the other issues was canceled by the authors’ proposal.

The Committee debated in the first reading the draft law on Making and Amendments in the Code of the Republic of Armenia on Administrative Infringements, which prepared the government.

The Deputy Minister of RA Transport and Communication Valter Marutyan presented the draft law on Making Addendum to the law of the Republic of Armenia on the Management of the Multi-Blocked Building for debate in the first reading.

The Deputy Justice Minister Nikolay Arustamyan presented for debate in the first reading the bill on Garbage Disposal and Sanitation Cleaning with enclosed bills.

The Committee endorsed the draft law on Making Addenda in the Land Code of the Republic of Armenia and on Making Addendum to RA Law on Local Self-Government, which was presented in the second reading.

All the bills with endorsement will be included in the agenda draft laws of the NA autumn session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

At the sitting of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Environment of the National Assembly , which was presided over by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, it was decided to cancel the debate of the three issues included in the agenda.

The three initiatives concerning the sphere of agriculture were included in the agenda of the sitting, the legislative package envisaging amendments to the draft laws on Organic Agriculture and Consuming Corporation, as well as on Veterinary and co-laws by the proposal of including in the agenda of the autumn session of the National Assembly.

At the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, presided over by Aram Safaryan, the legislative package presented in legislative initiative order by the deputies Arevik Petrosyan and Goharik Yenokyan on Making Addenda to RA Law on Civil Status Acts, on Making Addendum to RA Law on Local Self-Government, on Making Addendum to RA Law Local Self-Government in the city of Yerevan and on Making Addendum to RA Law on State Duty was debated.

The Committee decided to endorse the debated legislative package for including it in the agenda draft laws of the NA autumn session and four-day sittings and debate it in special procedure.

The debates of a number of draft laws were delayed up to 15, 30, 60 and 90 days.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations presided over by Vazgen Karakhanyan debated and endorsed five agreements.

RA Justice Minister Gevorg Danielyan presented for debate the agreement on Mutual Legal Help with Criminal Cases between the Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Syria, which was signed in Damascus on March 23, 2010. Mr. Danielyan also presented for debate the agreement on Mutual Legal Help with Civil Cases between the Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Syria, which was signed in Damascus on March 23, 2010.

The Deputy Director of the National Security Service adjunct to RA Government Romik Harutyunyan agreement on Cooperation in the Direction of the Security of the of the Persons’ Security Subordinate to the State Maintenance of the Participant States of the Independent States’ Cooperation signed in Bishkek on October 10, 2008 (with enclosed rejection).

The key speaker of the agreement On Air Communications between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovakia signed in Yerevan on March 18, 2010 was the Deputy Head of the Chief Department of the Civil Aviation adjunct to RA Government Aram Marutyan.

RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood presided over the Deputy Chairman Mkrtich Minasyan debated the draft law on Making Addendum to RA law On Transplantation of Human Organs and (or) Tissues presented in the first reading.

The draft law on Making Addendum in RA Code On Administrative Infringements presented in the second reading was debated, which submitted the RA Health Care Deputy Minister.

An extraordinary sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport was held presided over by Artak Davtyan, and its agenda was included the draft law submitted in the first reading On Making Amendments and Addenda to RA Law On State Duty.
