Procedure of Accrediting Journalists Begins at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

On August 15, 2008 the process of accrediting the representatives of the mass media to cover the works of the Autumn Session of the fourth convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia begins at the National Assembly.

According to the Rules of Procedure in function, the application of the head of the mass media, stating the first and the second names of the employee for accreditation, his/her post with an attached photograph must be submitted to the head of the Public Relations Department of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

The representatives of foreign mass media should also submit a copy of the accreditation at the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Armenia in order to receive the accreditation.

We remind that newspapers and news agencies receive two personal accreditations for the journalists, while the TV companies receive four personal accreditations: two for journalists and two for cameramen.

Incomplete, incorrectly completed or applications, not in time will not be processed and the journalists won’t receive accreditations.

The deadline for application submissions is September 5, 2008.
