The work of the sixth session of the eighth convocation of the National Assembly started on September 11 under the sounds of the RA Anthem.
The NA President Alen Simonyan informed that the Central Electoral Commission presented Protocol No. 17 on granting the mandate of a deputy elected to the National Assembly, whose powers have prematurely terminated to the next candidate, according to which the mandate is given to the next candidate of the first part of the electoral list of Armenia alliance of parties Mher Melkonyan.
Mher Melkonyan, who became an MP, was sworn in at the NA sitting in accordance with Article 33.4 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly constitutional law.
The Parliament approved the agendas of the NA sixth session of the eighth convocation and the regular sittings to be convened on September 11.
According to the NA decision, some items included in the agenda of the regular sittings will be debated in the second reading after their adoption in the first reading within twenty-four hours.
