In Athens the NA Chief of Staff, Secretary General Vahan Naribekyan highlighted the permanent development of the capacities of the Staff of the National Assembly of Armenia and the exchange of the best experience at the meeting with the Secretary General of the Staff of the Hellenic Parliament Georgios Mylonakis.
Congratulating the Greek Independence Day, Vahan Naribekyan emphasized the cooperation of the staffs of parliaments of the two friendly countries, and the Twinning Project gave a new impetus to it. The NA Chief of Staff, Secretary General expressed hope that that cooperation would more deepen, using the wide opportunities of the Twinning Project. He invited his Greek counterpart to Armenia. Georgios Mylonakis accepted the invitation.
The sides achieved an agreement to develop the relations of the staffs also within the framework of the implementation of the joint projects. The issue will be discussed in more details with the Secretary General of the Hellenic Parliament during the visit to Armenia.
Thanking his counterpart for the congratulations, the Secretary General of the Staff of the Hellenic Parliament underlined the procedure of the qualitative new phase of the cooperation of the two staffs within the framework of the Twinning Project. He expressed readiness to provide professional information on the achievements of the Staff of the Hellenic Parliament. It relates, particularly, to the digitalization of the work, cyber security and the management of the processes.
Vahan Naribekyan also attended the exhibition organized by the Staff of the Hellenic Parliament dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Greece’s Independence, visited the museum, got familiarized with the exhibits, the peculiarities of the museum and the work of the library.
Within the framework of the working visit, there was a meeting with the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary on Orthodoxy Maximos Charakopoulos and the representatives of the Staff of the structure. The further steps of cooperation were discussed.
The RA NA Deputy Chief of Staff Heghine Khachikyan also took part in the meetings.
