On April 7, six legislative initiatives presented during the debate in the first reading were included in the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.

The deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Sergey Bagratyan postponed the debate of the bill on Making Amendments to the RA Criminal Code for up to two months in order to review it.

The debate of the bills on Making Addenda to the Administrative Procedure Code, on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Offenses and on Making Addenda to the Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts was also postponed for up to two months.

The debate of the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Code authored by the NA deputies Artur Ghazinyan and Aram Vardevanyan was postponed for up to two months because of the absence of the key rapporteur Artur Ghazinyan from the sitting.

The debate of the legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Electoral Code and on Making Addendum to the Law on Local Self-Government authored by the NA deputy Taguhi Tovmasyan was also postponed because of the absence of the author for up to two months.

It should be noted that before referring to the agenda items, the Committee Chair Vladimir Vardanyan congratulated the female colleagues on Motherhood and Beauty Day, wished them health, happiness, love and all success in their personal and professional life.
