The deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Anush Beghloyan inquired about the position of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on the statement of the representative of Russia to the OSCE Lukashevich, who called on not to hinder the monitoring visit of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to Nagorno Karabakh.

The RA FA Minister Ararat Mirzoyan clarified that the Co-Chairs’ visit to the region has been planned for a long time, and, presumably, there is strong pressure from the Azerbaijani side to prevent the visit. “The visit, nevertheless, should be held, and the Co-Chairs should not give in to the pressure of the Azerbaijani side,” the Minister underlined. He has assured that the Ministry closely cooperates with the OSCE Minsk Group.
