The Government proposes to make amendments and addenda to the law on Accounting of the Public Sector Organziations. The draft law was debated at February 4 regular sitting of the NA Standing Committee n Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs. The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan has noted that the goal is the regulation of the accounting of public sector organizations.

Debates of the two bills were postponed up to two months: the draft laws on Amending the law on the RA State Budget for 2021 authored by Artak Manukyan and Narek Zeynalyan and on Making Addenda and Amendment to the RA law on Guaranteeing the Compensation of the Physical Persons' Bank Deposits authored by Artak Manukyan.

The Committee got familiarized with the report on the work done by the NA Budget Office in 2020. The Coordinator-Expert of the RA NA Budget Office Gagik Barseghyan presented it.

During the year 2020, the Budget Office received 115 inquiries, 76 out of them from the deputies, 7 inquiries - from the factions and 32 inquiries - from the NA Standing Committees.

On the basis of the inquiries 586 certificates were prepared and provided to the Speaker of the National Assembly and its Deputy Chairs, to all Standing Committees and Factions, as well as to the deputies.

In the context of the debate of the preliminary version of the draft state budget for 2021, the Office presented to the NA Standing Committees 280 proposals, and 1/3 out of them was accepted.
