At November 13 extraordinary sitting moderated by Arkady Khachatryan, the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs debated the draft law on the RA State Budget for 2021.

The RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the preliminary planned expenditures for 2021 conditioned by coronavirus pandemic and war actions.

Emphasizing the adoption of the basic financial document of the country, the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee Artak Manukyan urged his colleagues to vote for it. As a result of debate, the draft law was endorsed for including the draft law in the agenda of upcoming regular sittings.

The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan introduced the Letter-Agreement ‘Caucasian Electricity Communication Network II – Armenia-Georgia Transmitter Line/Sub-Stations’ Extension of the Loan Agreement Term Costs and Post-Payment Changed Schedule signed on 1 July 2020.

The Committee members endorsed the Agreement.

The debate and the voting of the two agenda items were postponed up to for two months by the key rapporteurs’ proposal.

Arkady Khachatryan has informed that the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Consumer Loan authored by the Bright Armenia Faction is removed from circulation for revision.

The deputies also voted for the item on extending the working contracts for five years signed between the Coordinating Expert of the Budget Office of the National Assembly Gagik Barseghyan and the Expert of the Budget Office of the National Assembly Ashot Yeghiazaryan and the NA Staff and on presenting a proposal to the Speaker of the National Assembly about it.
