On June 1, the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security moderated by Andranik Kocharyan debated in the second reading the package of the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on Police and on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Law on the Service in Police authored by the Government.

The Government proposed to fix the term of entering into force the law the following day of the issuance of the law, as the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Kristinne Grigoryan presented.

The co-reporter Armen Khachatryan highlighted the necessity of the adoption of the law and proposed to vote for the draft law.

In their speeches the MPs once again underlined the necessity and urgency of the adoption of the package of the draft law.

The package of the debated draft laws was endorsed.
