Extraordinary Sitting of RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Held

At June 25 extraordinary sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Artak Manukyan considered bills and an international agreement presented in the second reading.

The legal relations of the insurance mediators are regulated by the law on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Insurance and Insurance Activity and with the package of the enclosed draft laws . According to the RA CB Deputy Chairman Nerses Yeritsyan, the main goal is to get deprived the banking system from the criminals. Proposals had not been presented after the first reading.

Highlighting the adoption of the legislative package the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee Artak Manukyan urged his colleagues to vote for it.

The draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Cooperation of Assisting the Application of the Act of Tax Correspondence of Foreign Accounts between the Republic of Armenia and the United States was also debated.

The Agreement was signed in Yerevan in February 2018.

As a result of voting, the two legislative initiatives were endorsed for being included in the agenda of June 28 extraordinary session.
