On February 11, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan received the Head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Claire Meytraud, the Head of Communication and Prevention Programmes Zara Amatuni and the Legal Adviser Iren Aloyan.

Vladimir Vardanyan underlined the great expectations from the newly elected National Assembly, assuring that the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs would actively work with the local, international organizations and colleagues. He has noted that for more than 15 years he has been cooperating with the International Committee of the Red Cross as an expert of international law, and from now on he would be ready to form a cooperation agenda and continue the work, being a bridge between the parliament and the ICRC.

Claire Meytraud thanked for the reception and expressed hope that the cooperation would continue and be effective.
