On February 5, the extraordinary sitting of the RA National Assembly Council, presided over by the RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, was held.

The issue of the representation of the factions in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA), in Armenia-European Union Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA), in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), in the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, in the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), in the International Parliamentary Organizations of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) was discussed and approved. The NA Council will refer to the approval of the delegation members at February 6 sitting.

Afterwards the Council discussed and established the schedule of the convocation days of the regular sittings of the Standing Committees of the RA NA seventh convocation.

During the sitting of the Council a number of organizational items were also discussed.
