On November 6 at the NA Gilded Hall the press conference of the Co-Chairs of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA National Assembly and RF Federal Council Nikolay Rizhkov and Hermine Naghdalyan was held. Summing up the work of the 23th sitting of the Committee the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan noted that during the sitting the problems of the transport means and the theme, the venue and the term of the upcoming sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee between Armenia and Russia. The RA Deputy Minister of Transport and Communication Artashes Avetisyan and the RF Deputy Minister of Transport Sergey Aristov delivered a speech over the first issue. In the Vice President's word, the reporters presented the problems of the transport communication between the two countries and the ways of solving them. Mrs Naghdalyan in her speech noted that by the decision of the Committee a working group was created, which would lead from the Armenian side the NA deputy Vladimir Badalyan, from the Russian side the member of the Federal Council Igor Chernishenko. They would coordinate the works in the sphere of transport, would involve specialists, responsible for the sphere, and would conduct study of the debated issues during the sitting.

In his speech Nikolay Rizhkov noted that the sitting of the Committee was interesting and lively, the most important issues and the constructive approaches of their solution were discussed, stemming from the Armenian-Russian centuries old friendship and partnership. He presented that in the morning the members of the Committee met with the RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan and discussed the issues of conducting the 24^th sitting of the Committee. The Russian side proposed to conduct the next sitting of the Committee in Nizhny Novgorod in June 2014.
