“Dear compatriots,

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the Victory and Peace Day – the most beloved and the dearest festive day of our people.

May 9 is the embodiment of the heroic struggle for freedom and peace of the three generations of our people, and the climax of it became the liberation of Shushi and the whole Artsakh, returning to our people the dignified posture and the full opportunity of living and creating in peace.

Bowing our head before the memory of the soldiers and commanders who heroically fell for this festive day, we don’t have the right to forget that it marks what has been built due to unity, conscientious deprivations, devotion and endless love towards the Motherland.

Congratulating you once again, dear compatriots, I wish you new successes and victories for peace, for the strengthening of our country and the welfare and happiness of our people.”
