At the invitation of Jean-Claude Gaudin, Vice President of the French Senate, Artur Baghdasaryan, RA NA President, being in Paris met Koichiro Matsuura, UNESCO General Secretary. During the meeting agreements were reached for coordination and activation of National Assembly-UNESCO relationship, appointment of deputy, holding a conference on the discussion of the problems of cultural heritage preservation and sending a delegation to Nakhijevan for studying the state of the Armenian historical monuments of Nakhijevan.
During the meeting other issues concerning the cooperation were discussed.
