On April 20 RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan met European Union (EU) Troika delegation headed Hans Winkler, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria.

Piter Semneby, EU Special Representative to South Caucasus, Ambassadors of Austria, and Germany and Finland to Armenia, representatives of the European Commission and European Parliament attended the meeting.

During the meeting within the framework of the European New Neighbourhood policy a wide scale of issues concerning the Actions Plan developed by Armenia, processes of European integration, coming general elections, diversification of power sources, peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Armenian-Turkish relationship were discussed. The NA President, highlighting the quick start of the Actions Plan as soon as possible, expressed conviction that its implementation will bring closer to European Union and expressed readiness in the name of the National Assembly to consecutively promote the fulfillment of the reforms alleged by the programme.
