On October 25 RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan received the participants of the first pan-Armenian meeting of dentists, who arrived in Armenia from 16 countries.

Ashot Gevorgyan, Chairman of the Armenian Dental Association, represented the guests and noted that the best dentists of the world gathered in Armenia to discuss jointly the problems of the one of the most important sections of health care and get familiarized with the working experience and methods of each other.

Michele Aerden, President of the World Dental Federation, highlighted the dentists’ work for the person’s general health and said that there were important discussions during the several working days in Armenia.

The head of the European Union of Dentists said that he represents the dentists of 52 countries and the participation in the meeting gives opportunity to compare the best experience of the East and West.

RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan congratulated the 10^th anniversary of the Armenian Dental Association and highlighted the holding of such meetings from the viewpoint of the development of the sphere and health care. The Parliament President noted that the problems of health care are in the center of the National Assembly: on the agenda of every session the legislative regulation of the sphere is discussed and adopted and laws directed to the effective functioning and amendments in the laws in force, the draft law on Health is in circulation.

Ashot Gevorgyan, Chairman of the Armenian Dental Association, by the decision of the council, handed golden medal of the Association to RA NA President Artur Baghdasaryan for the support in the development of dentistry.
