Artur Baghdasaryan, Speaker of RA National Assembly addressed on the occasion of the Elders’ International Day, where it says:

“Dear RA elder citizens,

October 1 UN has been declared Elders’ International Day. This is a good occasion for the whole world community, Armenian authorities and civil society to estimate once again as sons, re-evaluate the contribution made by the elder citizens of Armenia in building an important section of its history. It’s also a best instruction to devotedly contemplate on the ways of solving your problems and concern.

On the occasion of the Elders’ International Day I welcome the political decision made yesterday - to begin the process of the restoration and re-imbursement of the sums deposited during the Soviet days. That should become an additional source of confidence and energy for all of us, in order to continue with more dedication and sincerity our efforts in solving your problems and concerns.
