On April 27 Artur Baghdasaryan, RA NA Speaker, met 36 directors of non-state schools of Armenia. There was an open and unconstrained discussion during the meeting. NA Speaker presented the legislative reforms of educational system, the adopted laws and draft laws and those being in the circulation and the goals that are solved by those reforms. The directors of non-state schools raised the issues of their activity the solutions of which need legislative and legal reforms. Within this framework issues of the status of non-state and school-leaving certificate, financing and providing with books were noted.

Artur Baghdasaryan, NA Speaker, suggested to cooperate with NA participating in the discussion of draft laws, studying the international experience of the sphere and in presenting the suggestions. The clear differentiation of rights and responsibilities of state and non-state schools, organization of united state criteria of education were emphasized.

During the meeting other issues were also discussed for the solution of which NA Speaker expressed readiness to meet again and support them.
