On January 25, the members of the RA NA Armenia-Iran Friendship Group were hosted in the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia.

The Head of the Friendship Group Vahram Baghdasaryan has underlined that the firm ties formed between the neighbouring countries and peoples serve as ties for further developing the political, economic and cultural relations. He has noted that during these years the Armenian-Iranian relations had considerable achievements. Touching upon the visit to Tehran paid recently and the meeting with the high ranking officials of Iran, underlined the necessity of the implementation of the signed agreements. Highlighting the membership of Armenia to the Forum of the Asian countries, the Head of the Friendship Group expressed hope that Iran would cooperate with Armenia in that issue.

The IRI Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sadjadi has noted that there is no restriction in the expansion of the bilateral relations, and Iran is ready to deepen the cooperation in all spheres. In the Ambassador’s word, in case of implementing the agreements we can hope that the volume of goods turnover between Iran and Armenia will record flying economic growth.
