At October 19 sitting moderated by Vardan Bostanjyan the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport debated the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Television and Radio.

According to the key speaker, the RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Boris Demirkhanyan, at present there are numerous issues in the frameworks of the on-ground digital TV broadcast system investment, and its specification requires legislative amendments.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport endorsed for debate in the second reading the draft law on Amending the RA Law on television and Radio, and it will be included in the draft law of the RA NA regular sittings' agenda.

The Committee made a decision to hold parliamentary hearings on the theme The Procedure of the Educational Reforms in the Preliminary and Middle Level Professional Educational Institutions: the Achievements, Problems and the Problems on Their Improvement.

The Committee debated a number of other working issues.
