RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan Takes Part in Final Session of 6th Armenia-Diaspora Pan Armenian Conference

On September 20, in Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex the Speaker of the RA National Assembly took part in the final session of the works of the 6th Armenia-Diaspora Pan Armenian Conference with the rubric Mutual Trust, Unity and Responsibility .

This year the Conference was held on the threshold of the 100th anniversaries of May victorious battles and the declaration of the First Republic of Armenia, as well as Erebuni-Yerevan 2800th anniversary.

During the final session the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan delivered a speech.

Thanking the participants of the Conference, the Speaker of the Parliament has expressed confidence that it is a consolidating, resulting in tangible results all national initiative and boosting the Pan Armenian cooperation.

One of the important items of the Conference was the idea of the creation of the Pan Armenian Council. Ara Babloyan expressed conviction that the structure to be created with its form and content can fully take part in the works of the formation of the Pan Armenian, united agenda.

Thanking all participants of the Conference the Speaker of the RA National Assembly highlighted its role in the development of Armenia-Diaspora ties and relations.

In her speech the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan summed up the work of the previous two days of the Conference, adding that this Conference with its format and importance of debated items exceeded the previous Conferences.

We also note that the date and agenda of the Conference was decided already during the summing up of the results of Armenia-Diaspora Fifth Conference held in 2014.
