RA NA Standing Committee Convenes Regular Sitting

On June 19, the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment convened the regular sitting, which moderated the Committee Chair Vardevan Grigoryan.

Under the Paragraph 4 of the Article 12 of the RA Constitutional Law the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, the deputies approved the working procedure of the Committee, which corresponds to the exemplary working procedure established by the RA NA Council. Let us note that from now on, according to the Committee's decision, if  quorum is not provided at teh time of the sitting, then additionally one more hour is alotted.

The second agenda item was the organization of visits to the RA enlarged communities, which aims at clarifying the positive and negative sides disclosed as a result of the community enlargement, and listening to the opinions of the enlarged communities' residents and the representatives of local self-government. On June 27 the Committee members will visit Dilijan community enlarged in the first phase of the procedure.

They will inform about the results of the visit to the RA National Assembly. 

Let us remind you that the community enlargement procedure continues phase by phase.
