On March 5, the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan attended the sworn-in solemn ceremony of the students of the Junior Yerkrapah (Defender of Land) c lub dedicated to Vazgen Sargsyan's 58th birth anniversary. The sworn-in ceremony of the young yerkrapahs, who had come from different marzes of Armenia and Artsakh, took place on Tsitsernakaberd heights. The Chairman of Yerkrapah Volunteers' Union Manvel Grigoryan, the NA deputies, ministers, representatives of clergymen, yerkrapah volunteers and journalists were present in the event.

The Director of the Christian Upbringing Centre of Holy See Echmiadzin Vardan Bishop Navasardyan, the Chairman of Yerkrapah Volunteers' Union Manvel Grigoryan and the RA Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan congratulated the junior yerkrapahs and urged the youngsters to be sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan's worthy heirs and selflessly serve the Motherland the Armenian people.

After the sworn-in ceremony the junior yerkrapahs gave speeches, showing their athletic skills, presenting combat and dance performances.
