On December 5, the RA National Assembly began the work of the four-day sittings by voting passing the bills debated in the previous sittings.

The deputies welcomed the students and lecturers of Yerevan State Humanitarian Technical College who visited the parliament within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme.

The parliament approved the agendas of the NA session and the regular four-day sittings, the NA decisions on amending the agenda of the session and the postponements. By the decision of the parliament the RA NA draft decision on the Right of People’s Revolting and the draft law on Lustration and the enclosed legislative package authored by Zaruhi Postanjyan were not additionally included in the agenda of the tenth session of the NA fifth convocation, and the NA Head Committee did not endorse it.

The parliament in the second reading debated the draft law on Amending the RA law on Securities Market with the enclosed package on which the recommendations were accepted. The NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs endorsed the RA law.

The bill on Amending the bill on Amending the Criminal Procedure Code was also debated in the second reading, which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Artak Asatryan.

Afterwards the draft law on Amending the draft law on Amending the RA law on Passing into Military Service was debated in the first reading, which submitted the RA Deputy Minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan.

The NA deputies Rubik Hakobyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, Tevan Poghosyan, Mikayel Melkumyan delivered speeches on the issue.

In his final speech Ara Nazaryan touched upon the deputies’ clarifications and gave clarifications.

Afterwards the parliament in the first reading debated the package of bills on Amending the RA law on Local Duties and Payments, on Amending the RA law on Waste Removal and Sanitary Cleaning and on Amending the RA law on Local Duty of Transport Parking Places.

The Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government Stepan Margaryan highlighted the legislative recommendation and the holding of the parliamentary hearings.

The NA deputies Khosrov Harutyunyan, Araik Hovhannisyan and Tevan Poghosyan expressed their views on the item.

The National Assembly will continue the work of the four-day sittings on December 6.
