On November 24, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Chynybai Tursunbekov in Tavricheskiy Palace of Saint Petersburg. The meeting took place by the Kyrgyz side’s initiative. During the meeting the sides discussed issues concerning the Armenian-Kyrgyz inter-parliamentary relations, and the coordinated work on international platforms was highlighted. Chynybai Tursunbekov has noted in terms of the development of the Armenian-Kyrgyz relations that the entrance of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union is very important.

The RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov highlighted the coordinated work of the parliamentary delegations of the two states. At the end of the meeting the Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament proposed the RA NA Deputy Speaker to lead the Observation Mission of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly CIS of the Constitutional reforms referendum of Kyrgyzstan.
