October 6, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day the Speaker of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan awarded a group of pedagogues from different marzes of the Republic of Armenia and Yerevan for the great contribution to the sphere of education. About twenty pedagogues were awarded the Memorial Medal of the RA National Assembly Speaker, the RA NA Diploma and Letter of Appreciation. The Head of the Parliament, congratulating the pedagogues on the occasion of the holiday, wished them peace, welfare and professional successes. Galust Sahakyan thanked the teachers for their faithful devotion, care towards the Motherland and unselfish work.

In the NA Speaker’s word, the pedagogue’s profession supposes a special responsibility, which is increasing in our times, taking into consideration the fact that in the rapidly changing world the demand of the developed and creative individuals is continuously growing. The Head of the Parliament has added that together with all that there is always necessity of well-bred individuals guided with national values and best traditions.
