On October 6, within the framework of the RA National Assembly Open Doors programme the teachers and pupils of A. Chekhov N 55 School visited the parliament.

First, the guests observed the work of the NA four-day sittings, after which they met with the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan.

The Committee Chair welcomed the schoolchildren in the legislative body of our country and talked with them about the parliamentary happenings, the legislative work and the peculiarities of the parliamentary government. The pupils were interested in wide scope of issues: from the NK conflict settlement and the international recognition processes of the Armenian Genocide up to the social situation of our country and the implementation of the educational programmes. Mr Davtyan gladly answered to all the questions.

The meeting ended with a symbolic taking photo, which had become a tradition.
