On October 5, within the framework of the RA NA Open Doors programme the students and lecturers of Yerevan Northern University visited the RA National Assembly. The NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan conducted the open lesson.

Welcoming the attendees, the NA Speaker talked about the works of the legislative body, informing that after the elections of the National Assembly to be held in 2017 Armenia will transfer into the parliamentary government model. In this context, the NA Speaker also touched upon the changed order of the RA President’s election, according to which, the RA National Assembly will elect the RA next President.

During the sincere talk the students addressed questions of their concern to the NA Speaker, which he gladly answered.

The questions mainly related to the RA law on Graduate and Post-Graduate Professional Education, giving students an opportunity to come up with legislative initiatives, the hard conditions of providing credits by the banks, etc.

Let us note that before the meeting the guests took a tour in the building of the National Assembly and observed the deputies’ work.

At the end of the visit the students and the lecturers have been taken a photo with the RA NA Speaker.
