The RA National Assembly President’s condolence message reads:

“I learnt with deep pain about the death of the literary critic, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Semyon Hakhumyan.

Semyon Hakhumyan, who had worked for many years in the educational system, as Enlightenment Minister of the Armenian SSR, then the RA Minister of People’s Education, was genuinely a bright intellectual and devotee of pedagogical work, who until the end of his life remained faithful to his work and vocation.

I sincerely express my condolences to Semyon Hakhumyan’s family, close relatives and share their grief.”
