On March 1, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov being in Saint Petersburg on a working visit in Tavrichesky Palace with the Secretary  General of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth Independent States (IPA CIS) Council Alexey Sergeev. The sides discussed the issues relating to the participation of the RA National Assembly Delegation. Alexey Sergeev highly assessed the active involvement of the representatives of the RA National Assembly in the works of the IPA. Eduard Sharmazanov in his turn has reaffirmed that the RA National Assembly is ready to continue its active participation in the works of the IPA CIS. The NA Deputy Speaker highlighted the participation of the IPA CIS Observation Mission in the preparation of the Constitutional reforms referendum and observing the implementation process. The General Secretary of the IPA CIS Council congratulated the NA Deputy Speaker on the occasion of the referendum held in Armenia.
